Welcome to our pre-season rundown of the NFL Top 10s. A look at the very best players at each of the key positions on the NFL Roster.
In part one of this two-part NFL Top 10s series, we are focusing on the offense. Plus, we’ll also rank the top players for some key special teams positions.
The new NFL season is now not too far away. After a busy pre-season of free agents, the NFL Draft and trades between franchises, many teams have a brand new look.
Many players also have a new home too, some moving in free agency, others being traded and of course, a number being signed on rookie contracts having been selected in the NFL Draft.
Bet365 Sport is offering extensive NFL betting on the forthcoming season already, with a wealth of futures betting markets available. You can also place bets on the first weekend of fixtures in the NFL regular season.
However, to whet your appetite for the action to come, we are taking a closer look at the current crop of players. Our NFL Top 10s will cover each position on offense. Giving you a list of players who may become Titans of the Turf.
So let’s get straight down to action starting, for a change, with the big guys on the offensive line.
NFL Top 10s – Offense
Offensive Tackle – NFL Top 10s
- Trent Williams (San Francisco 49ers)
- Tristan Wirfs (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
- Penei Sewell (Detroit Lions)
- Jordan Mailata (Philadelphia Eagles)
- Christian Darrishaw (Minnesota Vikings)
- Lane Johnson (Philadelphia Eagles)
- Trent Brown (Cincinnati Bengals)
- Rashawn Slater (Los Angeles Chargers)
- Tyron Smith (New York Jets)
- Laremy Tunsil (Houston Texans)
Rookie to Watch: Joe Alt (Los Angeles Chargers)
It was no surprise that Joe Alt went to early in the draft. The Notre Dame tackle is as NFL ready as they come and has the size and skill set to be a bookend tackle for the next decade.
Offensive Guard – NFL Top 10s
- Chris Lindstrom (Atlanta Falcons)
- Joe Thuney (Kansas City Chiefs)
- Tyler Smith (Dallas Cowboys)
- Sam Cosmi (Washington Commanders)
- Landon Dickerson (Philadelphia Eagles)
- Quinn Meinerz (Denver Broncos)
- Kevin Zeitler (Detroit Lions)
- Zack Martin (Dallas Cowboys)
- Wyatt Teller (Cleveland Browns)
- Peter Skoronski (Tennessee Titans)
Rookie to Watch: Christian Haynes (Seattle Seahawks)
Seattle have always drafted well for the two lines. Haynes may be another excellent pick up who can make an immediate contribution at guard.
Center – NFL Top 10s
- Frank Ragnow (Detroit Lions)
- Creed Humphrey (Kansas City Chiefs)
- Tyler Linderbaum (Baltimore Ravens)
- Ryan Kelly (Indianapolis Colts)
- Erik McCoy (New Orleans Saints)
- Ted Karras (Cincinnati Bengals)
- Ethan Pocic (Cleveland Browns)
- Drew Dalman (Atlanta Falcons)
- Andre James (Las Vegas Raiders)
- Lloyd Cushenberry III (Tennessee Titans)
Rookie to Watch: Graham Barton (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
A great pick up by the Bucs to land the best center in the draft who should be a mainstay of the offensive line for many seasons to come.
Tight End – NFL Top 10s
- Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs)
- George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers)
- Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens)
- T.J.Hockenson (Minnesota Vikings)
- Sam Laporta (Detroit Lions)
- Kyle Pitts (Atlanta Falcons)
- Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles)
- David Njoku (Cleveland Browns)
- Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals)
- Cole Kmet (Chicago Bears)
Rookie to Watch: Brock Bowers (Las Vegas Raiders)
One of the most impressive TE prospects in many years. Bowers will offer the Raiders an immediate upgrade in the passing and blocking game at a key position.
Wide Receiver – NFL Top 10s
- Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
- Tyreek Hill (Miami Dolphins)
- Ja’Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengals)
- A.J.Brown (Philadelphia Eagles)
- CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys)
- Davante Adams (Las Vegas Raiders)
- Cooper Kupp (Los Angeles Rams)
- Brandon Aiyuk (San Francisco 49ers)
- Stefon Diggs (Houston Texans)
- Puka Nacua (Los Angeles Rams)
Rookie to Watch: Marvin Harrison Jr (Arizona Cardinals)
If Jr. can turn into a receiver as good as his father was, then the Cardinals will have stole the WR with the fourth pick. He may be the player to turn around the Cardinals’ ailing form.
Running Back – NFL Top 10s
- Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers)
- Derrick Henry (Baltimore Ravens)
- Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts)
- Bijan Robinson (Atlanta Falcons)
- Nick Chubb (Cleveland Browns)
- Breece Hall (New York Jets)
- Jahmyr Gibbs (Detroit Lions)
- Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles)
- Travis Etienne (Jacksonville Jaguars)
- Aaron Jones (Minnesota Vikings)
Rookie to Watch: Ray Davis (Buffalo Bills)
Davis may have been drafted later on than some other RBs but he is going to find himself in a good position in Buffalo to contribute immediately on the Josh Allen-led offense.
Quarterback – NFL Top 10s
- Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs)
- Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)
- Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)
- Aaron Rodgers (New York Jets)
- Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)
- Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers)
- C.J.Stroud (Houston Texans)
- Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams)
- Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys)
- Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers)
Rookie to Watch: Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears)
The top pick in the draft is expected to start the season for Chicago and he is one of the better QB prospects of recent times. Bears fans will be expecting big things from their Number 1 pick.
Special Teams
Punter – NFL Top 10s
- A.J.Cole (Las Vegas Raiders)
- Mitch Wishnowski (San Francisco 49ers)
- Ryan Stonehouse (Tennessee Titans)
- Michael Dickson (Seattle Seahawks)
- Jack Fox (Detroit Lions)
- Cameron Johnson (Houston Texans)
- Johnny Hecker (Carolina Panthers)
- Corey Bojorquez (Cleveland Browns)
- Jake Camarda (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
- Jamie Gillan (New York Giants)
Rookie to Watch: Tory Taylor (Chicago Bears)
The Bears needed to improve in all areas. A strong punt game will support their defense a great deal and Taylor looks a solid pick up.
Kicker – NFL Top 10s
- Justin Tucker (Baltimore Ravens)
- Daniel Carlson (Las Vegas Raiders)
- Harrison Butker (Kansas City Chiefs)
- Matt Gay (Indianapolis Colts)
- Younghoe Koo (Atlanta Falcons)
- Jake Elliott (Philadelphia Eagles)
- Chris Boswell (Pittsburgh Steelers)
- Graham Gano (New York Giants)
- Eddy Pimheiro (Carolina Panthers)
- Jason Myers (Seattle Seahawks)
Rookie to Watch: Cam Little (Jacksonville Jaguars)
The Jaguars have suffered with their kicking game. Drafting Cam Little was a brave move but one that should give them more consistency at the position.
Kick/Punt Returner – NFL Top 10s
- Marvin Mims Jr (Denver Broncos)
- Keisean Nixon (Green Bay Packers)
- Xavier Gipson (New York Jets)
- DeeJay Dallas (Seattle Seahawks)
- Britain Covey (Philadelphia Eagles)
- Derius Davis (Los Angeles Chargers)
- Deonte Harty (Buffalo Bills)
- Rashid Shaheed (New Orleans Saints)
- Kalif Raymond (Detroit Lions)
- Ihmir Smith-Marsette (Carolina Panthers)
Rookie to Watch: Louis-Rees Zammit (Kansas City Chiefs)
The former Wales international rugby star could make a big impact as a kick returner for the Chiefs, especially with new rules coming in that should give these players a better chance of a big return.
It should be noted that we have not listed the NFL Top 10s for a number of more specialist positions, such as the Long Snapper or the increasingly infrequently used full back position.
