Sky Poker Bombarding Poker Fans With Offers In March

Sky Poker March PromotionsMarch may be the month known for madness, but Sky Poker seem to be taking the biscuit with seemingly a bundle of new promotions and offers hitting their site by the week.

This week sees several new announcements and offers which may be of real interest to Sky Poker fans as well as those of you considering joining a poker site and looking for one with plenty of promotions to reward your loyalty.

A duo of offers for the duration of the Cheltenham Festival

You’ll have to be quick to grab them, but Sky Poker are still offering a duo of offers for poker fans coinciding with the famous Cheltenham Festival, which is taking place from 11th to the 14th March.

Double guaranteed tournaments during Cheltenham

From Tuesday to Friday, each of the evening’s Main Event tournaments, which have their own guaranteed prize fund DOUBLE for the four days of the Cheltenham Festival.

This means that for Thursday night’s Sky Sports Bounty Hunter, £25,000 instead of £12,000 will be up for grabs (I didn’t realise Sky Poker’s maths was quite so bad, but an extra £1,000 means nobody will be complaining).

In addition, Friday Night’s Main Event, the Bounty Hunter will also see its guaranteed prize rise from £10,000 to £20,000 in celebration of the final day of racing at the festival.

The good news is that while the guaranteed prizes have been ramped up for each of these events, the buy ins of £33 still remain the same.

If you are super quick, you may even get chance to try and win the £12,000 on offer on Wednesday night’s main event, the Rebuy Open, which will cost you just an £11 buy in.

Cheltenham Festival Happy Days

It’s not just tournament players on Sky Poker who are benefitting from its benevolence during the Cheltenham Festival.

As part of their Happy Days promotion, Sky Poker players who play on the 6-max cash tables every day from 1.30pm onwards, will receive double Sky Poker Points when they play at these tables until midnight on each of the four days.

It is worth noting that the Happy Days double points boost is only applicable on the 6-max cash tables, not on other cash tables on the Sky Poker site.

You do need to be opted in to the Sky Poker Rewards program in order to reap the real benefits of this deal, but seeing as it is free to do so, most Sky Poker players are.

The £30k Mega Roller returns!

The first £30k Mega Roller was played just a few weeks ago and by all accounts, Sky Poker reckoned that the tournament was a huge success and so it is perhaps unsurprising that hot on the heels of the first event, Sky Poker have announced that the second £30k Mega Roller will take place on Sunday 30th March at 8pm.

The organisation of the event is very similar to the last one with a £110 buy in getting you directly into the Main Event on that Sunday night. However, if you don’t have that kind of cash readily available to guarantee your seat in the big final, you can attempt to satellite your way to place at the final table from just £3.

The Satellites for the next £30k Mega Roller will start on Monday 17th March, meaning you have the full available time period to qualify for the final.

There are several satellite options available:

On weekdays, throughout the day there are several £5.30 buy in £30k Roller Satellites planned with 1 in 5 entrants earning a place in that night’s semi event, starting at 9.15pm.

Alternatively, you can buy into the daily £30k Roller Semi for £24, with 1 in 5 players earning a place in the big Main Event on the 30th March.

In addition, throughout the day, Sky Poker will be hosting £30k Roller Direct tournaments for £12 and £24 buy ins respectively with 1 in 5 and 1 in 10 players in these events earning their place in the Main Event.

On the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd March, the site will also offer £30k Early Satellites in the morning (£5.30 buy in), with 1 in 5 earning a place in the Semi at 5pm.

The Semi can be bought into direct for £24 and 1 in 5 players in this event will earn a seat at the Main Event.

Lastly, on Sunday 30th March, throughout the evening players will be able to buy in for £3 to the £30k All In Satellite with 1 in 40 players earning a seat at the Main Event, which sees cards in the air at 8pm.

There’s lots of ways and lots of opportunity to book your seat for less than the £110 buy in direct fee, so why not give the second £30k Mega Roller on Sky Poker a go? After all, someone has to win it.

Multi-Stack Tournaments now available

Although not strictly a promotion, Sky Poker have listed it in this section anyway, but there are now options for players to buy into some Sky Poker events at differing levels, meaning players can start events with different amounts of chips.

These events are called Multi-Stack Tournaments and they are a relatively new addition to the site.

These new events are great because players can elect how much they want to spend and decide whether they are happy to build their stack from a lower level entry buy in, or pay more to start with a big stack and attempt to bully opponents at the table from early in the game.

Sky Poker have announced that there will be regular multi-stack events scheduled across the site over the coming weeks and months since these games first debuted on the site in mid-February.

Buy-ins range from £5 to £22 per event, with players allowed to increase their buy in to receive more chips when they sit down at a table.

So whether you fancy being chip leader, or building your stack from a lower starting point, the new Sky Poker Multistacks tournaments could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Not a player on Sky Poker? Correct that mistake and you’ll find yourself on the receiving end of a free Sky Poker welcome bonus that will put £20 in your bankroll with no deposit required.
