What is Mini UKOPS XVII?
Sky Poker’s Mini UKOPS XVII takes place from Monday 7th November across seven days and is a version of the main UKOPS XVII event but for smaller stakes players. There are a total of 28 events across seven days (four per night) starting at 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
Buy ins to these events cost between £2.20 and £11 per night and a each night in the biggest buy in event, players will be able to win a coveted UKOPS bracelet if they win the tournament. We will bring you full details of the 28 events in this popular secondary tournament, the ‘little brother’ to the main UKOPS event, closer to the time.
How does the UKOPS XVII Total Player Leaderboard work?
A brand new feature for the UKOPS this time around with Sky Poker is the UKOPS XVII Total Player Leaderboard, which has an additional £5,000 in cash prizes available to be won for the top 50 players, with the top player taking home £1,000.
To stand a chance of winning this cash players need to earn points by finishing as high up in every UKOPS tournament that they play in. The higher they finish in the cash out positions, then the more points they will receive towards the Total Player Leaderboard.
Points are awarded as follows:
- 1st Place – 50 Points
- 2nd Place – 40 Points
- 3rd Place – 30 Points
- 4th Place – 25 Points
- 5th Place – 20 Points
- 6th Place – 15 Points
- 7th to 10th Place – 10 Points
- All other players finishing in the cash out positions – 5 Points
Over the 10 days of action, players need to accumulate as many points as possible to finish as high up the Total Player Leaderboard as possible. If they finish in the top 50 players across the whole UKOPS XVII event, then they will win a cash prize of between £10 and £1,000 depending on where in the table they finish.
There is also a Mini UKOPS XVII Total Player Leaderboard in operation for the Mini UKOPS event.
There’s still a little time ahead of the start of the UKOPS tournament but satellites for the bigger events are taking place right now at Sky Poker, so why not log in and see if you can play your way to a Main Event with a chance of taking home some serious cash prizes.
