Sky Poker UKOPS XVII Bracelet Prize Tournaments

  • Friday 28th October – £20,000 Bounty Hunter Main Event (£110 Buy in, £20,000 Guaranteed)

The second tournament in the UKOPS series is arguably one of the most eagerly anticipated of the event with £20,000 guaranteed in prize money, stacks of 5,000 chips for each player and blinds rising every 12 minutes in this huge £110 buy in Bounty Hunter event.

Remember, in Bounty Hunter games, half of your money is placed into the pot with the remaining half placed on your head as a bounty. If you eliminate a player from the game by stripping them of their remaining chips, you claim the bounty on their head. Part of which goes into your bank balance and the remainder is added to the bounty on your own head.

This should be a hugely popular event, with a fantastic prize pool and a UKOPS XVII bracelet on the line for the lucky winner. There is no fitting a way to get the UKOPS under way fully than with what has become Sky Poker’s signature form of tournament.

  • Saturday 29th October – £15,000 Deepstack Main Event (£110 buy in, £15,000 Guaranteed)

With a huge 10,000 chip stack to start with, the £110 buy in Deepstack event is the sixth tournament in this years UKOPS XVII event and it will get under way at 8pm on Saturday evening. Don’t expect too quick a finish here though as with such deep stacks to start, plus the blinds increasing every 12 minutes, this is a tournament that could run and run.

There’s £15,000 up for grabs in this event guaranteed, possibly more if a high number of Sky Poker customers register to play, so if you fancy taking a shot at the prize, remember to register your interest in plenty of time for the tournament.

  • Sunday 30th October – £30,000 High Roller Freezeout (£530 buy in, £30,000 Guaranteed) and the £25,000 Bounty Hunter Main Event (£110 buy in, £25,000 Guaranteed)

Sunday night sees two huge events with over £50,000 in prize money up for grabs in two events starting within half an hour of each other.

At 7.30pm, the richest event of the UKOPS XVII series gets under way with the £530 buy in High Roller Freezeout and half an hour later the £110 buy in £25,000 Bounty Hunter Main sky-poker-ukopsEvent also gets under way.

Both tournaments see players start with 10,000 chips, although in the High Roller event, blinds rise every 15 minutes, as opposed to ever 12 minutes with the Bounty Hunter event.

  • Thursday 3rd November – £20,000 Bounty Hunter Main Event (£110 buy in, £20,000 guaranteed)

After a number of smaller value games during the week, the action steps up a notch again on Thursday night with a £20,000 guaranteed prize in another Bounty Hunter Main Event.  Blinds increase every 12 minutes, although players do start with just 5,000 chips in what is likely to be one of the most popular events of the UKOPS series.

  • Friday 4th November – £20,000 Rebuy Main Event (£55 buy in, £20,000 Guaranteed)

Take a shot at a prestigious UKOPS bracelet for just £55 in Friday night’s main event, which also boasts a £20,000 guaranteed prize pool. This is a rebuy event that means players eliminated are allowed to rebuy into the event for the same amount until the tournament reaches a certain point at which no further rebuys into the competition are allowed.

  • Saturday 5th November – £20,000 Bounty Hunter Main Event (£110 buy in, £20,000 guaranteed)

This is your final chance to win a coveted UKOPS XVII bracelet in a Bounty Hunter event as bonfire night kicks off with some different fireworks in the 5,000 chip, 12 minute blind Bounty Hunter.

  • Sunday 6th November – £40,000 Freezeout Main Event (£110 buy in, £40,000 guaranteed)

The biggest cash prize of the UKOPS series of events will be contested on the final day of the tournament in the 41st of 43 individual events. This freezeout event sees players start with 10,000 chips and with blinds increasing every 15 minutes. Buy in is £110, but there are also plenty of chances to satellite into this big money event on Sky Poker throughout the weeks beforehand. Cards are in the air at 8pm and the main event could be played out over a considerable amount of time due to the amount of interest it creates.

Remember too that from Monday 31st October through to Thursday 3rd November there are other events with a UKOPS bracelet up for grabs, although the prize money on offer for these events is generally a little lower than the ones highlighted above.

With a total of 43 events to choose from, not to mention the Mini UKOPS taking place immediately after the completion of this event, it promises to be a huge couple of weeks for online poker fans at Sky Poker.
