Where is WSOP 2022 being held?
WSOP 2022 is of course held in Vegas, but what lucky casinos are hosting? Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas get the honour this year. After 17 years at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, this is a big change.
Will two venues make things trickier? Hopefully not. As the joint hosts are connected and share a parking garage, it’s relatively easy to flit between the two venues.
What’s the significance of the WSOP being held in Bally’s?
Well, even though it’s known as Bally’s now, the casino will be rebranded as the Horseshoe later on in 2022.
This might be a familiar name to poker fans, as the original Las Vegas Horseshoe was the venue for the very first World Series of Poker in 1970.
How many bracelet events are in WSOP 2022?
WSOP 2022 has 88 live bracelet events.
When is the Main Event?
The WSOP Main Event runs 3-16 July and is hotly anticipated, as per usual. If you’re looking for it, find it on the schedule as the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship. The final table runs from Friday, 15 July until Saturday, 16 July.
Koray Aldemir won the 2021 Main Event, so all eyes will be on him to see if he repeats his success.
How big is WSOP 2022?
WSOP 2022 has the largest capacity is WSOP history. Between the two venues, there are 600 tables across 200,000 sq ft.
How much is it to play at WSOP 2022?
During WSOP 2022, buy-ins range from $400 right up to the nosebleeds of $250,000. Due to the big range, the WSOP attracts a lot of different types of players.
