How To Make The Bet365 Poker VIP Scheme Work For You

One of the most appealing aspects of any poker site is how it chooses to reward its loyal customers. Indeed, for higher rollers and those who spend a larger amount of money each month playing Bet365 VIP Scheme Pokeronline poker, the relative value of the award scheme will play a significant role in influencing whether that high roller plays at the site or not.

Of course, not every player is a high roller and the good news is that you don’t have to spend thousands every month in order to access the benefits of a decent rewards scheme.

What is true however is that many customers, especially novices to a site, may not fully understand how a reward scheme works or how best they can maximise their benefits from it.

With that in mind, we are going to take a look at the Bet365 Poker VIP Scheme in more detail and explain not just how it works for new users, but to also take a closer look at how players can maximise the benefits to themselves when playing on the site.

As with any reward scheme, Bet365 Poker’s VIP Scheme only kicks into effect once a user has reached a certain threshold on the site. The key to maximising your benefits is understanding where these thresholds are and how often you need to maintain them in order to qualify for a reward.

Let’s begin by taking a look at the fundamentals of the Bet365 Poker VIP Reward scheme and that is the humble Merit Point.

If you would like to join Bet365 Poker to participate in the VIP Reward Scheme, you can sign up today and receive a no deposit Bet365 bonus if you are new UK player creating an account for the first time.

What Bet365 Merit Points and how to earn them

Merit Points are what you earn on Bet365 Poker every time you play in a real cash game on the site. Every time you pay a percentage of the Rake on a hand on a cash table, or pay a tournament fee (alongside your buy in) to enter a Sit & Go or Multi Table Tournament on the site, then these fees will earn you Merit Points.

For every £1 or €1 you spend in Tournament Fees or contribute towards the rake in a cash game, you will earn 15 Merit Points. Spend a fraction of this and you can earn fractions of Merit Points, for example, pay £0.10p in Rakes on a table or Tournament Fees and you will earn 1.5 Merit Points.

As you play on Bet365 Poker over the course of a month, the number of Merit Points that you earn will grow with each real cash game that you play. You can check how many Merit Points you have earned in a month by clicking on the My Account section of the site. Alternatively, if you play any cash table game, a running total of your total number of merit points for the current month is displayed when you load up the table.

One thing to note when playing cash tables is that there is a set limit on the number of Merit Points you can earn in a single hand. If you contribute £2.50 or more in rakes on any single hand, then you will earn a maximum of 37.5 Merit Points for that hand.

The reason Merit Points are so important is that they are the ‘currency’ upon which the Bet365 VIP Rewards scheme is based.

How do your Merit Points add up to a reward?

The reason you are collecting Merit Points each month is that they can be used to qualify for a reward as part of the VIP scheme. The VIP Scheme operates at four different levels of increasing value and in order to move onto the next level you need to earn the stated amount of points in one month to move up to that level for that month.

The four levels of the VIP Scheme are as follows:

  • 1,000 to 4,999 Merit Points earns you Bronze level
  • 5,000 to 9,999 Merit Points earns you Silver level
  • 10,000 to 24,999 Merit Points earns you Gold level
  • 25,000+ Merit Points earns you the highest level, Platinum

As you can see, you need to earn a minimum of 1,000 Merit Points in a month to qualify for the lowest level of the Bet365 Poker VIP Rewards scheme but that is not all. In order to qualify for a reward, you must maintain at least that level for three months consecutively.

So for example, if you qualify for a Bronze reward by earning more than 1,000 points in your first month as a member, you would need to earn at least 1,000 points in the next two months consecutively before you can put in a claim for your first reward. It is also worth noting that unless you have enough points to claim the award, you may have to wait a little longer to amass the points you need to qualify.

The good news for players is that there is a choice of rewards you can elect to claim provided you have maintained the required level for at least three months and have the requisite number of Merit Points available in your balance to claim the award.

The awards you can claim are a Cash Reward, Bonus Reward and a Tournament Tokens reward.

Here are three tables outlining the number of merit points required for each award, how much the reward is worth in monetary value and the required VIP Level you need to maintain on the Rewards scheme for at least three months in order to claim that award.

Cash Reward Table

Merit Points Needed Reward VIP Level Required
7,500 €75 Bronze
20,000 €200 Silver
50,000 €500 Silver
100,000 €1,000 Gold
200,000 €2,000 Gold
375,000 €3,750 Platinum

Bonus Reward Table

Merit Points Needed Reward VIP Level Required
7,500 €150 Bronze
20,000 €400 Silver
50,000 €1,000 Silver
100,000 €2,000 Gold
200,000 €4,000 Gold
375,000 €7,500 Platinum

Tournament Token Reward Table

Merit Points Needed Reward VIP Level Required
6,250 €50 Bronze
9,375 €75 Silver
18,750 €150 Silver
25,000 €200 Gold

As you can see, the first reward (for Tournament Tokens) starts at 6,250 Merit Points, so to claim this award, you would need to have achieved Bronze Level VIP Status for at least three months PLUS have at least 6,250 Merit Points in your balance. Only when both of these criteria have been fulfilled, will your claim for the award (or indeed, any award) be successful.

The Bet365 Poker VIP Rewards scheme is a great way for loyal players at Bet365 to earn a little back from their spending on the site. It isn’t ideal for micro-stakes players, or those who play infrequently on the site, but for regular users, it can prove to be a good way to earn a little extra spending money on the site from time to time.
