How does March Madness work?

March Madness is the latest in the “Missions” series of promotions that have been seen regularly on Bet365 Poker over the past few months, chiefly due to their popularity with players.

In these events, players typically complete Daily and Weekly Missions to earn themselves a variety of tournament tokens for entry into poker tournaments. Some of these tournaments can only be entered via acquisition of a tournament token by completing a mission.

In the past, the Missions have been based predominantly on the traditional form of Texas Hold’em but the March Madness promotion is slightly different in that its main focus is the new Six Plus Hold’em game that has been newly released on the Bet365 Poker site over the last couple of weeks.

From the 29^th February through until Sunday 27^th March, there will be a host of missions to complete, with tournament token rewards across a wide range of Bet365 Poker games. Let’s now look at the schedule for the promotion in more detail.

What is the March Madness Missions Schedule?

There are four weeks where Bet365 Poker customers can earn themselves a number of different tournament tokens for a variety of different tournaments. The full schedule of events, the reward for completing the mission and how many tokens can be won and when are shown in the four tables outlined below.

When can I use my freeroll tournament tokens?

Of course, if you are earning freeroll tournament tokens, or Premium Steps tokens, then you will want to know when you can use these tokens so you don’t miss out on the tournaments that your mission success qualifies you for.

Firstly, if you earn any Premium Steps token through the promotion, then you have seven days within which to use the token before it expires.

The other tokens you earn all pertain to tournaments that can only be entered via procurement of a token through completing a mission and we’ll look at when these run starting with the lowest value tournament.

Each day there is a €500 All In Shootout freeroll which is scheduled to take place at 22:00 UK time every day of the tournament from the 29^th February through until the 26^th March. On the 27^th March, the final day of the promotion, the time of the tournament changes to 18:30 UK time.

In addition to the daily tournament above, the promotion will also see two €1000 All In Shootout Freerolls. From the 29^th February until the 26^th March these will take place at 12:30 and 19:30 UK Time each day. However on the 27^th March, the tournaments start an hour earlier at 11:30 and 18:30 UK time.

Each week there is also a €5,000 Freeroll event which is scheduled to take place every Sunday in the promotion (6^th, 13^th, 20^th and 27^th March) at 12:00 UK Time, apart from the final tournament on the 27^th which kicks off at 11:00 UK time.

Lastly, there is also a weekly €6,000 Six Plus Hold’em Freeroll tournament taking place on Sunday. Usually these events will start at 18:30 UK time, however on the final Sunday, this event will start an hour earlier at 17:30 UK Time.
