In Football Frenzy, you simply click to release your ball at the top of the board (the angle of release changes, so you can try and trigger the ball at your preferred angle) and then the ball hits pegs and works its way down the board to the bottom.
On its way however it can land in one of several holes. These are the bonus holes and there are two types, the Free Kick Bonus, which locks your original ball, but then gives you another ball free of charge in the Kick Off section, which you release and once this ball hits the bottom, the ball held in the Free Kick hole is released. It is possible to have three balls running on a single turn using this feature.
The second feature is the Penalty Kick Bonus. Here you are presented with the chance to score a penalty into a section of a goal with a bonus amount. The amounts shown are shuffled and you select which part of the goal to kick the ball into. If you score, you win the bonus shown, if the keeper saves your shot, then no bonus is awarded.
Once any ball in play reaches the bottom of the screen it will land in one of three places. The miss sections (which mean your bet losses), the trophy section (which is a winner and awards you a 1x, 2x or 5x multiplier on your original stake) or the Golden Goal trophy section in the centre of the screen, which triggers the same bonus as in the Penalty Kick Bonus, but this time with a twist.
When you land in the Golden Goal Trophy section, you can earn a multiplier of at least 7x your stake, but it could also increase up to a huge 25,000x your stake, giving you a much bigger win.
